Traditional Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves insertion of hair fine thin needles into specific points on the body to harmonize the energy called “chi” which flow in specific pathway called meridians. On physiological understanding acupuncture stimulates nerves, muscles, and connective tissue, to relieve various conditions, especially pain. When performed by a qualified practitioner, acupuncture is generally safe.

Electro Acupuncture

Electroacupuncture is similar to traditional acupuncture technique, here small electric currents is used to stimulate acupuncture points, enhancing the benefits of traditional manual acupuncture. Needles are inserted into the skin at specific points, and electrodes are attached to them, allowing a mild current to pass between them, creating a pulsing sensation. EA is used to treat a variety of conditions, particularly pain, and is thought to work by influencing the release of neurotransmitters and other signaling molecules in the body, including endorphins and serotonin, to reduce pain and regulate bodily functions

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a healing technique that involves burning dried mugwort (moxa) to generate heat that stimulates acupuncture points on or near the skin. It is believed to be effective for chronic conditions, improve blood circulation, and reduce pain and inflammation.
